Rare 1960s French worker shirt worn by farm workers, shopkeepers, artisans in France. Sewn in post-war Europe when textile factories were recovering from war. It has been produced as work wear cloth for military units and correctional facilities. Designed with tie closures to save on notions expenses.
100% cotton, soft flannel, selvage on the back seam and front placket inside. Strap fastening. Two hip and one chest pockets. Very soft flannel.
All work shirts sold in found condition and some have original wear from storage.
