1970s Deadstock Bone Palette Painters
Aly Barohn, fiber artist and owner of VAUX, hand-paints each pair of these cotton canvas pants with the concept of an abstract painter’s palette. You tend to see painter’s pants splattered from years of wear and use, covered in an array of hues and tones. In appreciation of this, Aly takes each pair of deadstock pants (meaning they are vintage but have never been sold, worn or washed prior) and applies an intentional palette to them in unique and varying color arrangements. It is an abstract version of the unintentional canvas the pants were originally meant to be.
These 1970s deadstock painter pants come in bone (off-white/cream) canvas cotton. Straight leg with a high waist fit. Deep pockets at hips and back plus hammer loop. Metal zipper fly with silver snap for closure. These pants are hand-painted and therefore will have irregularities natural to that of an artists hand. Recommended launder care: machine wash on cold, tumble dry on cool.
